It almost feels it was in another life, but a far and distant dream used to be to be devoted to promoting art in every shape and form. The daily reality might have taken us a slightly different way, but by no means was the love of art abandoned at any time. Art belongs in every house, it should decorate every wall, shelf, and it doesn’t mean that the only art is the one you pay hundreds of thousands of pounds for. 

It seems that we are finally trying to embrace again the nature that surrounds us. What used to be so common only a few decades ago, it got somewhat lost as the globalisation took over and everything became so easily accessible. All of a sudden we have created generations of youngsters (who are not even such youngsters anymore) who are convinced that raspberries can only be found in a shop.  

Fermenting is not just taking care of yourself, it is taking care of the planet.
We have become such a consumer society the majority of us no longer consider what we actually need. A single trip to the shop usually ends with at least twenty items we have never intended buying. Not only did we not intend to buy them, we definitely don’t need them and highly likely we won’t eat them. 

This week it's the carnival week. It is kind of like Halloween, but nothing scary and nothing to do with witches, with the main idea behind being scaring the winter away. You have probably seen or at least heard of the famous one that takes place in Venice every year (yes even in 2021, albeit in much reduced numbers and without tourists).
